An in-depth exploration of luxury Singapore
Protravel International—the country’s leading luxury travel agency—has launched a one-of-a-kind curated “Crazy Rich Americans Love Singapore” vacation experience inspired by the sights and sounds seen in the blockbuster movie. Designed by one of Protravel’s top luxury travel advisors and Singapore specialists, the customizable itinerary provides an extraordinary trip in the Lion City to vacation like a movie star.
“Singapore is a multi-faceted luxurious destination for cuisine, design, fashion, shopping, and culture,” said Protravel International President Becky Powell. “It has been growing in popularity and our advisors report it’s among the top five Asian destinations they are booking and on the bucket list of many. Our Protravel advisors are well-versed in providing personalized white-glove service and having the local connections necessary to curate a once-in-a-lifetime vacation like our new ‘Crazy Rich Americans Love Singapore’ trip. This is not an experience you can easily create with anyone else or on your own,” said Powell.
Day 1: Welcome to Singapore
You were already wowed by your Singapore Airlines Suite during your international flight. Who knew flying could be so good? Now, expect your arrival to be just as special. Your VIP Meet & Greet service will escort you through Changi airport, skipping the usual immigration and customs lines via the exclusive JetQuay CIP Terminal. Relax with a drink or light snack in a private lounge while we gather your luggage. In no time, you’ll be in your own private luxury car on your way to Marina Bay Sands, the hotel that is arguably one of the stars of Crazy Rich Asians.
Your first day in Singapore will be dedicated to settling into your hotel suite, enjoying your welcome amenities and maybe a visit to the spa to rejuvenate for your adventures ahead. After an outing or two, change into your cocktail attire and make your way to CE LA VI, the open-air, celebrity-haunt lounge and restaurant on the Marina Bay Sands rooftop where crisp, cold champagne and caviar will be waiting for you at your reserved table, together with out-of-this-world views and people-watching. Then, head to dinner at Chinoiseri, where Asia’s celebrity Chef Justin Quek masterfully combines Western and Eastern cooking techniques.

Day 2: City Tour & Shopping
After a reinvigorating night’s sleep and a delicious breakfast, meet your driver and guide for your private introduction to the Lion City. They’ll take you to the stately civic district followed by the three main ethnic quarters: Chinatown, Arab Street and Little India. You’ll make stops along the way where you can stretch your legs and learn about the multi-culturalism of Singapore.
Lunch today is at a famous Peranakan restaurant, Malcom Lee’s Candlenut. It is the first and only Michelin-starred Peranakan restaurant in the world. Enjoy an authentic glimpse into the Peranakan heritage and culture.
After lunch, you’ll have time for some retail therapy, including options for having a custom-made suit or couture fashion item to be ready for pick-up at the end of your trip. Or perhaps a private jewelry showing is more your preference.
Day 3: Culture & Sentosa Island
Today, enjoy a leisurely breakfast in your lovely suite so you can enjoy the view. Then pack your bags for your departure from your hotel. When you’re ready, start the day’s adventure by visiting the colorful streets of Bukit Pasoh, home to many of Singapore’s lovely, brightly painted shop houses. After a short tour, you’ll be able to enter one of these special homes where you’ll be given a private lesson in the complex game of mah-jong. More than just a table game, it’s a cultural tradition that is part of the very fabric of Singapore. Work on your game theory, as Rachel did in Crazy Rich Asians, while you sip on delicious green tea.
From Bukit Pasoh make your way over to the recently opened National Gallery. It houses not only a spectacular collection of Asian art, but also the gorgeously designed Michelin 2-Star French restaurant, Odette. Odette is considered one of the best restaurants in the world, and you’ll have a table waiting for you.
After lunch, your private car and driver will transport you the short distance from Singapore to Sentosa Island. You’ll already be checked in to your large, luxurious, one-bedroom villa at Capella Singapore, a lush five-star resort set in meticulously restored Tanah Merah colonial bungalows dating back to 1880. Your suite has its own terrace and plunge pool surrounded by jungle flora. Relax and indulge yourself at Capella’s Auriga spa, the first spa in Singapore to receive a Forbes 5-star status.
Then, in the late afternoon, enjoy delicious cocktails on a sunset yacht cruise, a very special experience in Sentosa. Dinner tonight is at Forest, an exquisitely designed Michelin-rated restaurant with a stunning forest canopy ceiling. Indulge in a delicious, modern Chinese meal created by celebrity chef Sam Leong.
Day 4: Botanical, Culinary & Spiritual Enrichment
Sleep in and enjoy breakfast in bed at Capella or wake up early and try a Tai chi exercise class with a personal Tai chi Master. Or, once again indulge in the spa before heading back to Singapore mainland, where you’ll be checked-in to the new Capitol Kempinski Hotel Singapore.
Your room is the highly luxurious Heritage Suite – the nicest accomodation at the hotel. Its high ceilings and Victorian elegance will make you feel like you’ve escaped to another era.
Today you’ll have a chance to visit the famous Botanic Gardens, a UNESCO Heritage Site and one of the most beloved tourism destinations in Asia. You’ll be enthralled by the tropical flora, winding paths and hidden oases of shade. You cannot miss the VIP Orchid Gardens, where some of the finest hybrid orchids have been named after visiting celebrities and Heads of State. Within the gardens, enjoy lunch at Michelin-rated Corner House. Its setting, in a beautiful and romantic former colonial Black & White bungalow, is second to none.
Then, sit back and relax as you enjoy a private tour of the most noteworthy colonial homes and buildings in Singapore. Like Nick Young’s family mansion in Crazy Rich Asians, many of these homes are hidden within the lush jungle areas that still flourish on this otherwise metropolitan island, so tourists often miss them altogether. You’ll have time for a rest back at the Kempinski before heading out for an early dinner at a very special location.
Tonight, you’re headed to Chijmes,a former church where the wedding scene in Crazy Rich Asians was filmed. Take some video of yourself walking down the aisle as a keepsake!
Your guide will escort you a short distance to the Swissotel, where you’ll enjoy a delicious dinner with a view at the Michelin 1-star British restaurant Jaan. From there, it’s back to the Kempinski to relax in your luxurious suite.
Day 5: Gardens by the Bay
Today is your last full day in Singapore. Enjoy breakfast at the Kempinski before heading out to get up close and personal with one of the location highlights of Crazy Rich Asians – Gardens by the Bay. Follow your expert guide to the Flower Dome, the largest glass greenhouse in the world. This wonder of engineering houses an amazing collection of plants and trees, including even Baobab trees from Africa. Next, head into the mist of the Cloud Forest, where you’ll be awed by the orchids, giant indoor waterfall, and breath-taking treetop walk. Finally, on to the Super Trees, where you’ll learn about the engineering and horticulture brilliance that went into their design.
Enjoy a dim sum lunch at the Michelin two-star Sichuan restaurant Shisen Hanten before heading back to the hotel to relax and get organized for tomorrow’s travels.
Tonight, for your last evening in Singapore, enjoy an exquisite dinner at Indochine Restaurant, located up high within the Super Trees. After dinner, make your way over to the trees’ sky-high walkway. There, you’ll enjoy a glass of Champagne while you watch the spectacular nightly light show.
Day 6: Farewell to Singapore
Your amazing visit in Singapore has come to an end, but your memories will last a lifetime. Enjoy your journey home, including our VIP transfers, first class lounge access and your luxurious Singapore Airlines Suite.
